Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 Free License Key Valid For Lifetime

Kaspersky is a well known name when it comes to protecting your computer from malicious threats and viruses. Kaspersky has been providing security solutions for PCs and mobiles for a long time now. They excel at what they do and that’s why millions of people around the world trust their antivirus programs and have installed their security suite to keep malwares and trojens away from their computer.

Here comes the good news. In this post, I’m going to share how you can get Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 with genuine license key that will never expire. Computer Bild, a popular German magazine, is offering a free license to all users who have registered with them. They have released their own edition of the latest security suite in the German language and named it Kaspersky Security Suite 12 CBE (Computer Bild Edition).

Kaspersky Security Suite CBE edition is a genuine product by a reputed German based company. Its earlier versions i.e Kaspersky CBE 9, 10 and 11 have been trusted by thousands of people. So those of you who are interested to get a paid Internet Security Suite for free can follow the steps below. More after the break.

Step 1: First of all, you need to create an account at official Computer Bild website, if you haven’t yet. Go to this page for registration. The website is in German language so useGoogle Chrome browser that will automatically convert the website into your native language in order to fill the details in the form with ease, and here’s the screenshot of the form after translation.

Step 2: Write down the email address in the second field where you want to receive the license key of the product. You can use any disposable email service where you can receive emails with proper links. Click the first checkbox underneath the box and keep untick the second checkbox. After you have filled in the form and clicked ‘Register’, you should receive an email at the address you specified in the form with a confirmation link. Click on that link to activate your account.

Step 3: Once done, log into your account and go to this link. Now you will need to request a personal license key for Kaspersky Security Suite 12. Follow the instructions on the page and tick the first checkbox (as shown in the screenshot below) and hit the ‘license key’ button at the bottom. Shortly, you should receive an email containing the genuine license key of the product.

So now you have a license key of the Kaspersky Security Suite 12 Computer Bild Edition [German Language]. In the next part of the post, I’m going to tell you how to use this license key to activate Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 English version. Follow all the steps carefully else you’ll end up with a corrupt install of Kaspersky Internet Security 2012. Here we go.

Step 4: Download the latest version of Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 from the official website. Here’s the direct download link in case you’re feeling lazy. After you have downloaded, run the installer file, and let it start the installation process. Tick the checkbox ‘Change Installation Settings’ in the first window that appears on your screen and then click ‘Next’.

Step 5: (Perform this and the next step carefully to avoid corrupt installation) Keep on clicking Next/Agree button to continue the installation process until you see a window on the screen that looks like the screenshot below. Untick the checkbox ‘Protect the installation process’ and then click install button.

Step 6: Let the installation process run for a while and once it reaches at the step where it’ll be copying new files to your system. Click on ‘cancel’ button to temporarily stop the installation process. Take a look at the screenshot below to know at what stage you have to pause the installer. When the progress bar completes the first round and starts the second round. It’s required to do some manual changes in the installation.

Step 7: Download the CBI.dll file from this link. Copy the CBI.dll file in your clipboard, browse to the following location in your computer – \ Program Files \ Kaspersky Lab \ Kasperky Internet Security 2012 (depends on where you have installed it) and paste the CBI.dll file. If there is already a file exists with the same name and extension, simply replace it with just downloaded file. Now go back to the installation wizard and click ‘No’ to continue the installation process and wait until it finishes.

Step 8: Once it installs completely, reboot the system. Now open the Kaspersky Internet security 2012 where you’ll be asked to enter a license key to activate the product. Here you have to use the license key of Kaspersky Security Suite 12 CBE that you generated in the 3rd step. That’s it !! If you have followed all the steps carefully, you should get the full version of Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 running on your computer.

The license key you are provided with will last for 3 months, but it’s being said that you are allowed to renew your license for the next 3 months using the same procedure you followed in the first 3 steps. That way you can use full version of the Kaspersky Internet Security for as many years you want, depending on how many times you renew the license from Computer Bild.
